Werk en Inkomen Lekstroom (WIL) helps people participate in society. We offer job assistance, debt relief and temporary financial support to people in Houten, IJsselstein, Lopik and Nieuwegein.
Our mission
Financial support and governmental welfare are not an end in itself, but a means to help people find their way back into society. A person’s own strength and abilities are key in doing so. WIL builds on people’s own strength and helps them participate to the best of their ability. In doing so we prevent social exclusion, poverty and debt.
Basic level of Dutch
We offer our services in Dutch. In order to use our services, you need to have a basic level of Dutch. This will also help you participate in society. If you do not have a basic level of Dutch, it is important that you take steps to learn the language. Until you know the language, you can bring a translator along for meetings with our consultants.
